We are A movement of ambitious idealists
The School for Moral Ambition is a foundation and a growing movement. We help talented people move toward work that matters — taking on neglected problems like factory farming, Big Tobacco, and unfair tax systems.

The School for Moral Ambition emerged from a desire not only to talk about a better world but also to take action towards one.
Our founders are writer Rutger Bregman, designer Harald Dunnink, former banker Julia van Boven, former consultant Jan-Willem van Putten and entrepreneur Ruben Timmerman.
Our growing team worked hard at setting up the Moral Ambition Circles program, in order to ensure moral ambition is an ideal everyone can aspire to. At the same time, we launched our Moral Ambition Fellowships in September of 2024.
